Shop at The Salvation Army Family Store
In efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and in cooperation with the state and local governments, our Family Store is temporarily closed and cannot accept donations at this time.
The Salvation Army’s thrift stores are known as Family Stores because there’s something there for the entire family.
Family Store Location:
5042 South Padre Island Drive
(361) 851- 0723
Monday: 10AM – 3PM
Tuesday – Friday: 10AM – 7PM
Saturday: 10AM – 5PM
When you donate goods to The Salvation Army, those goods are then sold through our Salvation Army Family Stores. Proceeds from all purchases are used to fund The Salvation Army Social Services Programs which provide spiritual, social, and emotional assistance for families and Veterans who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves.
The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many of those who have been assisted are able to find hope and resume a normal life.
So every donation and every purchase makes a life-changing difference. With your support, men, women, children, and Veterans can avoid living on the streets and, instead, find permanent homes!
Help make lives better by scheduling a donation pickup at 1-800-SA-TRUCK, dropping off your gently used items, or by shopping at The Salvation Army Family Store near you.
