Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Event Postponed
TEXAS CITY (September 2021) – The Women’s Auxiliary of The Salvation Army announced that the Boots & BBQ event scheduled for October 14 is being postponed due to ongoing covid concerns and scheduling issues. The new date is to be determined.
The event will honor the City of Texas City for the amazing support received by The Salvation Army during the rebuilding of the Texas City corps which opened in September 2020 at 4801 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway. The Salvation Army of Texas City offers emergency financial assistance for rent and utilities, food assistance and an afterschool Boys & Girls Club.
