Hard Work Leads to Recovery

East Texas Refrigeration’s Gift of Warmth Project

It’s time for East Texas Refrigeration’s annual Gift of Warmth project!

East Texas Refrigeration (ETR) is partnering with The Salvation Army to collect 500 NEW blankets by January 27th, 2017 and we need your help!

The Salvation Army has already given out over 100 blankets this season alone, and counts on donations from drives like ETR’s Gift of Warmth project to sustain our efforts in the community. Blankets are distributed year-round through our Social Services office, and also used in our Center of Hope shelter (a 200-bed facility).

New blankets may be dropped off at the following locations:

  • East Texas Refrigeration (ETR) on 4700 Old Troup Highway in Tyler, Texas from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm on Monday through Friday
  • The Salvation Army at 633 North Broadway Avenue, Building Three in Tyler, Texas from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Monday through Friday; or after hours and weekends at Building Two (Lodge Entrance)
  • Blankets may be given to any ETR technician seen around town.

The suggested gift is $10 per card.

The best news is, we can send these “Red Cards” or Christmas Cards to your entire mailing list! It’s a meaningful gift that will definitely be used right here in Smith County!
