Homeless Veterans Service Program

This program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance.  The Fund for Veterans’ Assistance provides grants to organizations serving veterans and their families.  Qualifying veterans and their families can receive assistance at our Goslinowski Social Services Center at 910 N. Flores Street or at our Dave Coy Men’s Shelter at 226 Nolan Street.

Services Provided

      • Outreach engagement and admissions
      • Case management and housing planning
      • Homeless prevention services (rental and utility assistance)
      • Transportation
      • Hygiene items
      • Men, women & family shelter services

Qualifications

    • Proof of service
    • Honorable and dishonorable discharge
    • Veterans, dependents and spouse, and surviving spouse
    • Homeless or facing homelessness
