The 12 Most Important Days of Christmas (pdf)
While this year’s Red Kettle season is 29 days long, we’re suggesting you give special focus to 12 days that will potentially help maximize fundraising and community engagement: weekends, holidays, Giving Tuesday, and the National Commander’s Red Kettle Challenge.
To help you make the most of these days (or any other ringing day) the elves at DHQ put together The 12 Most Important Days of Christmas.
Mix, match, or expand on the attached ideas to find what works best in your community. We’d love to hear your ideas, too!
This resource is for anyone – new or seasoned – to support your fundraising efforts this Christmas.
DHQ, with input from the field, has put together a Christmas checklist tool. This is only a guide. This is by no means a comprehensive list of tasks, nor in the order that works for you and your location.
You’ll see there are 3 tabs in the Excel spreadsheet:
Pro-tip: Add your task list to Microsoft Outlook and move items to your calendar. Invite others to share that calendar and make items recurring year after year!
The PDF may be printed as needed.
