    As a nonprofit serving our communities across Texas, we at The Salvation Army know the power of in-kind contributions.

    Gifts in-kind allow us to build our resources, hold down our overhead costs, expand our capabilities, and ultimately, serve more Texans.

    There is always need of a wide range of contributions. Some of our most needed items include canned food, clothing, bus passes, diapers and personal toiletries.

    Gifts in-kind also allow individuals and organizations to donate excess inventory or specialized products to assist those with an immediate need, while knowing their contributions are going towards a good cause. Many people enjoy giving physical items, since they are able to see the tangible benefit of their contribution.

  • Corporate Gifts In-Kind

    Benefits of Corporate Gifts In-Kind
    • Making an in-kind contribution often reduces costs associated with surplus inventory.
    • Contributing is an efficient way to recycle used or depreciated equipment and supplies.
    • Making a donation allows your company to respond to an immediate need while benefiting your local community.
    • Corporate donations may be tax deductible.

  • Vehicles

    Have an old car that you don’t want to go through the hassles of selling to someone else? You can donate it to us and avoid the hassles!

    It’s not just cars and trucks, some watercrafts are also accepted. You will receive a tax deduction and The Salvation Army will benefit from the sale of the vehicle to fund important programs.

    Due to differing regulations and other considerations, not all types of vehicles are accepted at all locations, so it’s best to contact us first.

  • Airline Miles

    There are so many ways you can make a difference. By donating your miles through United Airlines Charity Miles Program or Delta SkyWish, you enable The Salvation Army to move personnel quickly in time of disasters, provide travel for those in need of emergency medical care outside their area, and reduce administrative costs by providing travel for staff.

  • Matching Gifts

    Want to get the most bang for your buck? Your gift could be doubled! Check to see if your company has a matching gifts program. Many businesses will match gifts given by employees to The Salvation Army, as an incentive to give back to the community, often doubling the total gift.
