Chick-Fil-A Helps The Salvation Army To Get Over 600 Angels Returned

Over 600 Angels Have Not Been Returned

Chick-Fil-A Joins The Salvation Army Once Again

The Salvation Army has all angels adopted but not all have been returned. The Angel Tree closes on Thursday, December 17, 2017. We still have over 600 angels out of over 2,000 angels that still need to be returned this year. Chick-Fil-A is helping to make sure that happens and that no Angels are forgotten. Thursday, December 14th, 2017, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, the Chick-Fil-A cow will be at the Westgate Mall Angel Tree. When an Angel is returned, the person returning the Angel will receive a Chick-Fil-A gift card to be redeemed at The Westgate Mall.

Remember, come support The Salvation Army and return your Angels today to receive a FREE item from Chick-Fil-A at the Westgate Mall! Please help us make sure that no Angel is forgotten.

Help Give A Child Christmas This Year

With the help of our community, The Salvation Army will provide Christmas gifts to over 2,000 children in our area. The community’s partnership is crucial. We have 400 children that have yet to be adopted out at the Westgate Mall and over 600 that have yet to be returned. You can help provide Christmas to a child in need in our community by adopting an angel from our Angel Tree. Stop by during Westgate Mall hours and pick up an angel. Angels can be returned at the Westgate Mall as well before December 17, 2017. Please make sure that no angel is forgotten…because every child deserves a little Christmas.

The Salvation Army Needs YOUR Help To Distribute Angel Tree Gifts

We NEED Volunteers
Help Us With The Last Step To Make Christmas Happen

at

It’s time for our last step to complete our Christmas Assistance Program….distributing gifts to those who wouldn’t have a Christmas without The Salvation Army Angel Tree program. We have over 2,000 children with thousands of gifts to distribute. We need as many organizations, church groups, small business office personnel, etc. to help distribute all of the gifts received from our generous community. On our Distribution Days alone we need a minimum of 50 volunteers PER day. Lastly, after all the gifts have been distributed to families we need help cleaning up! We need people to put bikes together, organize clothes, toys and generally make the Rex Baxter Building a professional distribution center.

PLEASE DON’T FORGET:

Actual Distribution Days – December 19th ,2015 1:00pm – 5:00pm
December 21st, and 22nd, 9:00am-5:00pm

Distribution Cleanup – December 23rd, 9:00am-5:00pm

The Salvation Army Angel Tree Kick-Off

Picture1

For various reasons hundreds of children in the Amarillo area won’t experience Christmas this year. Beginning November 13, 2015 through December 13, 2015, The Salvation Army will offer holiday shoppers the opportunity to make a child’s Christmas dream come true by adopting a child through its Angel Tree Program. The Angel Tree will contain hundreds of Angels draping from its branches. Each Angel hanging represents a needy child in the Amarillo area who is awaiting adoption.

Additionally, corporations or businesses may choose to decorate Christmas Trees with Angels at their place of business for employees to adopt. After selecting an Angel, the purchased, unwrapped gifts are returned to the Angel Tree location no later than December 13, 2015. After gifts have been collected, we will begin setting up to distribute gifts to families at the Rex Baxter building.

For more information about adopting an Angel, sponsoring an Angel Tree at your location, or volunteer opportunities, please contact The Salvation Army main office at (806)373-6631.
