In addition to featuring the music of Michael W. Smith in an intimate setting, The Doing the Most Good Luncheon will focus on the theme, “Open the Eyes of My Heart”, as we share stories of those served by The Salvation Army in Austin. These stories will feature the struggles and victories of women and children in need as they journey from a period of crisis to a time of hope and stability.

Other entertainment will include The Salvation Army Band from the Citadel Corps in Austin, as well as the world-renowned Harbor Light Choir from Houston.

On behalf of the thousands of individuals helped each year through the work of The Salvation Army, thank you in advance for your support! Should you have any questions, please contact Donna Clendennen at 512-634-5921.

When you think of the homeless, you may picture someone at a busy intersection holding a sign, but did you know that more than any other group, women and children represent the growing face of homelessness in Travis and Williamson Counties? With your support, we are empowering these women and children to move from crisis to stability. The Doing the Most Good Luncheon held on April 25, 2014, celebrated these families and the work we are all doing together.
