For every $100 donated,
five students will have the joy of receiving
a new pair of tennis shoes.
Can you believe it is almost time to begin getting ready for school to start? But for many students “back to school” can be an unnerving experience. This can be especially true if he or she comes from a family that is not able to afford new clothes or shoes for their children. It is because of these situations that The Salvation Army created our annual “Shoe-In.”
On Saturday, September 27, 2014, we will be conducting our 6th Annual “Shoe-In.” Over the past five years we have given out more than 5,000 pairs of new tennis shoes and more than 10,000 new pairs of socks. Our goal this year is to provide 1,200 students with new pairs of tennis shoes and socks.
Please consider making a “Shoe-In” donation. Because of our great partners we are able to buy quality, new tennis shoes for $20 a pair.
