Shop Salvation Army Family Stores
The Salvation Army’s thrift stores are known as Family Stores because there’s something there for the entire family.
The total budget of The Salvation Army’s voluntary, faith-based rehabilitation program at our Adult Rehabilitation Center is generated through the sale of donated items at our four local Family Stores.
The following Salvation Army Family Stores are located in the Austin Metropolitan Area:
4216 S. Congress Avenue, 78745
8801 B Research Boulevard, 78758
601 W. Louis Henna Boulevard, Round Rock, 78728
13530 N Hwy 183, 78750
Store Hours: M-T-Th-F 10-7 Wed. & Sat. 10-8
When you donate goods to The Salvation Army, those goods are then sold through our Salvation Army Family Stores.
And the proceeds from those purchases are used to fund our Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) that provides spiritual, social, and emotional assistance for men who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. The ARC offers residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment.
The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many of those who have been rehabilitated are reunited with their families and resume a normal life.
So every donation and every purchase makes a life-changing difference. Not just for those in the grip of addiction, but for their families as well.
